•Paul Novotny, president of "The Audio Producers Inc". does audio post for TV. Trained as a musician and composer Novotny saw that in order to create a sound mix that truly engages audiences a comprehensive knowledge of music and audio post sensibilities must go hand in hand to bring the message to the viewer. Novotny has been engineering/producing/sound-designing and mixing, radio / TV commercials, corporate communications and media since 1984. He has applied his audio style to TV shows like, The Extra Yard, Candice Tells All, House of Brian, Leave it to Brian, Disaster DIY, Holmes Inspection, Holmes on Holmes, CBC Life & Times (David Clayton Thomas), Citizen Black (Conrad Black) Four Strong Winds (CMT) & many more.
•As a TV music composer Novotny penned the orchestral theme for CBC's National News in 2001, CBC's The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos-2004, CBC's News Now-2005, Ikea's Space for Living and TV / Radio commercials for Suzuki, Velamints, Mastermind, CN Tower, Scotia Bank, Simmons and others. Paul has also composed music for three feature films, Blue Monkey, Relative Secrets and No Angel. Music for short films include The Armoury, Shiva and Skate Date.
•Novotny is also an established Canadian jazz bassist, composer, music producer. He has 5 CD's as an artist with his music/business partner Joe Sealy on their co-owned record label Triplet Records Inc. He has produced 3 Juno nominated CD's and one Juno winner. His latest CD with Sealy is titled "SONGS" and is a collection of 9 tuneful original's featuring singers, Jackie Richardson, Dan Hill, Julie Black, Ranee Lee, Barbra Lica and blues singer Danny B.
